The Internet is very slight here so only can access with my cell phone. It is a chilly morning requiring jackets and sweaters. I am waiting for the kettle whistle to sound so the French press can begin it’s work. We slept for 8 hours in absolutely still water and amazingly quiet setting. Sun is coming up and forecast is for light winds and fair skies. The VHF radio provides weather reports 24/7, but we usually check in the morning and evening. Dinner was wonderful with a candle that Dianna stuck in an empty Coors beer can as a holder. We found some great Columbia Valley Cabernet at Costco before we left, so we had a Tamarack Cellars “Firehouse Red” with our chili and cornbread. With no lights and just Dianna’s candle it was perfect.
This morning we are making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to have ready for our lunch. We are headed 40 miles up the west coast of British Columbia to a small harbor. Lund is the name of the port. They are said to have a great bakery so we are hoping that it will be open. They also have a quaint pub where hope to have Internet service that can send our pictures from yesterday. The coffee is perfect. Finally got the process figured out so we are set.
I will try to attach picture?
Sun in is coming up nicely and I can feel a slight warming through the window. Time to venture outside to see what it looks like.
More later…..
